Are you in the mood for a romantic fairytale or a heartwarming coming-of-age story that reassures you that everything will be alright? Then send a request to me—for the freeskis!
To submit your request, you can:

2. If you wish to be anonymous, you can request through this Google form.
3. Direct message me through Substack
If you submit your request anonymously, I suggest you leave your name or alias so I can acknowledge you in the post. That way, you know the request is yours.
Be aware that:
Every request may not receive a response.
If I write the request, your preferences may be altered during the creative process.
The more thorough you are, the better the results!
Are you requesting a short story regarding one of my free novels? (These stories can be outside of the book’s universe. Get as creative as you wish.)
“Hey, Zavan. Can you give us a past scene from Between Reel and Reality? I want to experience one of the arguments Cierre and Amel used to get into. Maybe Cierre was working on a film and saw some mess about Amel hooking up with another girl after a concert?
“Yo, Zavi. I’d like you to write a scene with Kai and Naz from Through the Fire. I want Naz to lose a bet and have to give Kai a lap dance!”
What do you want the characters to do? What’s the vibe? Is it a humorous, funny, flirty, or sad scene?
“Cute, first date bowling scene between a shy trans-man and extrovert cis-woman.”
“Spicy sexual, threesome scene”
“Two gay guys fall in love while fighting over Beyoncé’s discography.”
“A Black lesbian stripper gets emotional when their ex-stud bae starts dating one of her coworkers. I need da DRAMAAA.”
Does it matter what the character(s) looks like?
“I want the story to involve two thick, chubby lesbians.”
“One character’s giving Kehlani, and the other’s giving Victoria Monét.”
Short Story Request Example:
“What’s up, Zav? Sooooo, I want a scenario where this trans boxer [A], who looks like Michael B. Jordan, has been secretly dating his rival’s sister, who looks like Justine Skye [B]. B brings A to Thanksgiving, and they reveal their relationship. The drama unfolds from there.”
I am open to all short story requests. I just ask that at least one character is queer and Black. If you have something you want to read, then hit me up!
I am also open to requests for other posts, such as reviews, rants, advice, and additional blogging content.
Review Request Example:
“I know your messy ass sees this drama going on between these two rappers. Who’s side are you on? Let’s get into it.”
